Frequently Asked Questions
Is it okay to help people with the forms (moves) they are learning?
Yes, it is okay to help each other remember the moves they have already learned but it is not okay to show them more and move them ahead of what they have learned. All of the students in the school are being taught in a manner and time frame that may not be clear to you. It is important to be mindful not to disrupt any plan that the Sifu may have in the works for each of his/her students.
Sometimes it is exciting to have learned something new and natural to want to share that in hopes of being the one to create that excitement in another. Even so, never take it upon yourself to teach something because you feel a student is ready for more. Also, if a student was not present in class to learn something, do not make a decision to catch them up. Only the teacher knows when/how much a student is ready to advance, many times adapting in lessons that reach beyond just physical moves.

Sifu Sara and I are always on a quest to improve the school to provide the very best experience in the traditional arts of Kung Fu and Tai Chi. We strive to bring our students the very best learning and practice environment possible. As a result, the school continues to grow and expand. About Kung Fu
Kung Fu training is a great way to regain loss muscle mass, strength and flexibility.
Loss of muscle mass, strength and flexibility occurs naturally in the body after the age of 35. The fact is that when you lose muscle you gain weight, even if you are eating well. Health experts recommend that you engage in some form of training that focuses on all major muscle groups a minimum of 2 times per week and up to 5 times per week depending upon your fitness goals. Kung fu, with its full body training, provides a perfect solution to prevent muscle loss and regain your strength and flexibility. Don't give into age and the losses of muscle and fitness that are associated with it. You may not be able to turn the clock back to 20 but you can take where you are right now and improve upon it and become stronger, more fit and start feeling better than you did in years.
